Black Stars captain Andre Ayew selected for Marseille team of the decade

Ghanaian international Andre Dede Ayew has been selected as part of Olympics Marseille’s best players for the last decade.

The Black Stars captain spent his development period as a player at the French Ligue 1 club before subsequently breaking into the senior team.

From 2007 to 2015, the son of Abedi Pele enjoyed a fantastic campaign with Marseille and established himself as the club’s poster boy in his last couple of years at the club before moving to England.

Taking a look back at the best players who has played at Olympic Marseille for the past decade between 2010 to 2019, French paper Le Phocéen has named Ayew as part of the team.

Ayew is joined by stars such as goalkeeper Mandanda, Valbuena, Loic Remy, Dimitri Payet, amongst others.

For the years spent at Olympic Marseille, Ander Ayew made 152 appearances and managed to score 45 goals. He is highly-rated and respected at the club till date.
