Some Muslim Ghana players joined prayers at Masjid-ul-Mumineen in Houston, Texas on Sunday as part of celebrations to mark the Eid al-Fitr, an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan.

Coach Kwesi Appiah and his charges are currently in Texas preparing for their two international friendly games against USA and Mexico.

The Black Stars are set to face Mexico at Houston's NRG Stadium in Texas on June 28, after which they play the USA at the Pratt & Whitney Stadium in East Hartford, Connecticut three days later.
