Black Stars plays best as underdogs – Former Ghana President John Mohama ahead of Brazil clash

Former Ghana President John Dramani Mahama is undoubtedly confident about the Black Stars chances ahead of the Brazil encounter.

The Black Stars will take on Brazil in their first international friendly on Friday, September 23rd in France before travelling to Spain to play Nicaragua on September 27th.

Ahead of the Brazil tie, John Mahama, who believes the Black Stars plays best as underdogs is optimistic the team will rise to the occasion and make Ghanaians proud.

“Soccer matches between Ghana and Brazil are always exciting to watch. In today's friendly at the senior level, the odds seem to favour the Brazilians, but I trust our gallant team, the Black Stars”

“They play best as underdogs; they will rise to the occasion and make us proud” he posted on Facebook which was sighted by Footballghana.com.

The match will kick off at 6:30 pm local time.

Ghana will take on Nicaragua three days later in Spain as part of preparations for the World Cup.
