Ghana international, Andre Ayew is now without a club after ending his stay in Qatar where he played for Al-Sadd SC.

The Black Stars captain joined Al Sadd as a free agent in July 2021 and played in 30 league games, scoring 18 goals.

While the 33-year-old midfielder had five months left on his two-year deal with the club, Al-Sadd SC have today announced that it has reached a deal to part ways with the player.

“OFFICIAL: Al-Sadd SC has reached an agreement with Andre Ayew to terminate his contract with the club by mutual consent Thank you Andre Ayew,” an official club statement from the Qatari club said.

Andre Ayew is now clubless and will be hoping to secure a move before the January transfer window expires.

Sources say a move to boyhood club Olympique de Marseille is a possibility. Meanwhile, Qatari club Al Rayyan are also said to be interested in the services of the forward.
