Black Stars train in Cape Coast ahead of friendly against Ivory Coast

The Black Stars trained at the Cape Coast stadium earlier today in preparation for their match against the Elephants of Cote d'Ivoire which is set to take place on Saturday, June 12, 2021.

Ghana, who are scheduled to play two games in this month, have already played one game, losing 1-0 to Morocco at the FAR Sportive Stadium in Rabat on Tuesday, June 8, 2021., and will play their next game against Ivory Coast.

The players and technical team landed in Ghana yesterday and Coach Akonnor’s side moved straight to Cape Coast to prepare for the tie.

Today, the squad trained at the Cape Coast Stadium in preparation for their second friendly game against Ivory Coast.

Ghana's head coach, CK Akonnor, is using the two friendlies to examine his team's strengths and weaknesses ahead of the next World Cup qualifiers.
