Myron Boadu hopes to be able to refuel with confidence during a break with the Dutch Juniors this week. The striker exchanged AZ for AS Monaco last summer, but his start there has been disappointing for the time being.
French media is highly critical, while its figures are mediocre. Boadu is still waiting for his first goal in French service. Still, the attacker is very confident in a successful stay.
Monaco paid no less than seventeen million euros for the fast striker, who for a long time doubted whether a departure from AZ was the best choice for him.
"I could have scored many more goals, but I needed a new challenge. After eight years in AZ, it would have been enough. Had I finished learning at AZ? Actually, I was not unmotivated, but in a new competition I could more challenging," said Boadu in conversation with Nu.nl.
