Boakye Yiadom assist earns Red Star Belgrade a draw against Javor

Ghana striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom provided the assist that secured Red Star Belgrade an important point in their away game against Javor Ivanjica. 

Crvena Zvezda returned to action in a  Melancholy mood after their crushing  4-0 home defeat to Tottenham Hotspurs in the Uefa Champions League.

Javor were highly competitive against Crvena after taking the lead in 25 minute and held on for the entire duration of the first half.

Richmond lasted the entire period of the game and provided the assist in the 87 minute for teammate Milan Jevtovic to restore parity, after he was teep Veljko Simic in the 18 yard box.

Prior to his assist, Boakye had the ball in the Javor's net in 77 minute but was ruled offside.

Crvena Zvezda still maintain their lead at the top of the table in Serbia Super Liga with 7 points above second place team Vojvodina.
