Ghanaian Striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom scored on his return to fitness for RedStar Belgrade away from home to Proleter Novi Sad.
Boakye missed out in their last league match against Backa Topola owing to a knock he sustained before their Champions league group stage match against Tottenham.
However the 24 year old started training three days ago and was declared fit to play this weekend. He therefore started from the bench and came on in the 6 2nd minute.
Despite dominating the game with 58 ball possession and leading by a goal, Red Star Belgrade needed another goal to put the game to bed.
Boakye Yiadom scored his first goal of the season in the 82nd minute to put the game beyond the reach of Proleter .
