The collateral damage in Cartagena is the expulsion of Boateng and the fifth yellow card that Alex Gallar saw. Neither of them will be able to play against Ibiza
A skinny dog all fleas, as the saying goes. That was what happened to Cartagena that, in addition to the four goals conceded - which could have been more - lost two of its players, Alex Gallar who saw the fifth yellow card in the scarce eight games played - most of them for protesting - already Richard Boateng, who despite having seen the yellow card in the first half later would commit a foul, possibly unnecessary, in the center of the field, which would cost him the second yellow card and consequently the expulsion.
Gallar was changed at the break of the game, his performance was not being the best and the Catalan footballer had to leave his position to Cayarga who, frankly, improved his performance in the offensive aspect.
The Ghanaian Boateng, however, although he was also cautioned from the first half, remained on the grass, but only lasted a quarter of an hour, until he committed the foul that will force him to watch the clash against Ibiza from the stands.
