Bob Bradley Backs Spanish Striking Duo Llorente and Baston to Fire Swansea to Safety

Published on: 29 October 2016

Swansea manager Bob Bradley is pinning much of his hopes for Premier League survival on the club's Spanish strikers Fernando Llorente and Borja Baston.

Bradley, who replaced Francesco Guidolin as Swans boss earlier this month, is yet to taste victory in the English league after defeat to Arsenal and a drab draw against Watford last week.

However, as his side shapes up to face a Potters side spearheaded byWilfried Bony - the striker they have thus far failed to sufficiently replace since he signed for Manchester City in 2015 - Bradley believes record-signingBastonand Llorente can be instrumental in turning their season around.

Borja was an important signing for the club. He's still adjusting to a new club and a new league, Bradley said.

Fernando has had a little bit of an injury, so we haven't been able since I arrived to get everything out of him.

But I'm hoping we have dangerous players. Gylfi (Sigurdsson) has found good positions in two matches and scored an excellent goal against Arsenal.

We're trying to taking advantage of the talent we have and improve in terms of creating advantages and know how to score goals and become more of a threat.

I certainly am hopeful that with Fernando and Borja we have players with enough talent and that we can turn them into big goalscorers for our team.

Baston and Llorente have both scored just one goal apiece so far this season.
