Swansea manager Bob Bradley has spoken about how 'emotional talks' helped his side to beat Sunderland on Saturday.

Swansea moved off the foot of the table and out of the relegation zone following a comfortable 3-0 win over the Black Cats in what was undoubtedly the best Swans performance under the American and maybe even the entire season.

After securing successive home wins,Wales Onlinereport Bradley saying, "We got a good response after last week and the players deserve full credit.

"They used the word pride a lot when we talked this week. We asked what it looks like on the pitch; intensity, clean sheets “ don't just talk about it, turn it into something more.

We were angry, we were frustrated, there was emotion, but it had to be challenged, looks more like pride. We wanted them to understand what pride looked like."

Two goals from Spaniard Fernando Llorente and a penalty from Gylfi Sigurdsson helped Swansea win the game.

Bradley was quick to praise certain players in the team, including Leon Britton and Angel Rangel.

Bradley said,I had a lot of different discussions this week with players. I use an expression sometimes, after a bad game like that, you have to take the temperature of players, figure out what the message is going to be.

"I would point to again the three experienced players, Fernando Llorente, Leon Britton, Angel Rangel, because their understanding of how to be strong in tough moments, they've seen these days, they know what's required. Those three were important."
