The foundation for the Bundesliga returnee's outstanding season was laid during the first visit a year ago, and now coach Thomas Reis's team is working to qualify for a third season in the Bundesliga.

The players finished two sessions on Monday in wonderful weather and against a stunning mountain landscape.

Ghana's Christopher Antwi-Adjei was missing on Monday but he is likely to return to training on Wednesday.

In May 2021, VfL Bochum, newly promoted to the Bundesliga, announced the signing of Antwi-Adjei for the 2021–22 season. He signed a contract until 2024 and joined on a free transfer from SC Paderborn.

Antwi-Adjei made his debut for Ghana national team on 18 November 2019 in an AFCON qualifier against Sao Tome and Príncipe.
