Sunday’s 2016/17 Premier League match day six tie between Bolga All Stars and Asante Kotoko could be played at the Techiman as the Upper East Regional side has written to the Premier League Board (PLB) asking for a change of venue.
In a letter dated March 3, 2017 and signed by the President of Bolga All Stars, Salifu Shaibu Zida, the club said their request for venue change is to help them “reduce cost and travel risk” adding that “all necessary action for the club movement has been taken care of in Techiman”.
Accra Representative and Premier League Board member, Thomas Boakye Agyeman who disclosed this to Asantekotokosc.com, said the PLB was yet to grant the request of the league debutant.
