Bologna v Roma: Official Line-Ups

Published on: 23 September 2018

Stuttering Roma travel to Bologna desperate for a positive result, and continue with Edin Dzeko in attack.

The Giallorossi endured a miserable week after throwing away a two goal lead against Chievo, before falling to a 3-0 Champions League defeat to Real Madrid.

Coach Eusebio Di Francesco rings the changes, and Dutch teenager Justin Kluivert makes his first start, stepping in for Cengiz Under in the wide right position. Diego Perotti marks his return from injury on the other flank, either side of Dzeko.

Meanwhile, Ivan Marcano moves in at left-back, to replace the benched Aleksandar Kolarov, as Roma look to tighten up a leaky defence.

Former Giallorossi custodian Lukasz Skorupski starts in goal for Bologna, whilst Roma youth team graduate Arturo Calabresi is given a surprise starting berth against his boyhood club.

Erick Pulgar sits out the fixture through suspension, whilst Rodrigo Palacio is injured, forcing coach Filippo Inzaghi to turn to Federico Santander and Diego Falcinelli up front.

Bologna: Skorupski; Calabresi, Danilo, De Maio; Matiello, Svanberg, Nagy, Dzemaili, Krejci; Santander, Falcinelli

Roma: Olsen; Florenzi, Manolas, Fazio, Marcano; Pellegrini, De Rossi, Cristante; Kluivert, Dzeko, Perotti
