Ansgar Knauff has spent a year on loan with Eintracht Frankfurt. In the financial capital, he was able to persuade his current employer, Borussia Dortmund, of his abilities. The initial meeting has now occurred.

Ansgar Knauff was placed on a development path by Borussia Dortmund. According to Sport1 journalist Christopher Michel, BVB met with Knauff. The black and yellow wanted to know how the right winger was feeling in general and whether he could see a future in Dortmund.

Sebastian Kehl, the sports director, does not prioritize personal problems. According to Michel, "the personal Knauff movement should only come in" when the current transfer period ends.

In Frankfurt, he is well-known. If he remains, he'll quickly become the Waldstadion's new crowd favorite. And Eintracht sports director Markus Krösche has long shown his desire to fight for the loan player.

Knauff has yet to make his professional breakthrough in Dortmund. Prior to his loan to Frankfurt, he moved between Bundesliga and third-tier clubs. Meanwhile, Knauff's previous coach Edin Terzic is back on the bench in Signal Iduna Park, and he still has big expectations for the 20-year-old.
