Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus Set to Make Return Against Bayern Munich After Six Months Out

Borussia Dortmund's star winger Marco Reus is set to make a return to action in Saturday's clash with Bayern Munich after six months out, according tothe Mirror.

The 27-year-old suffered a torn adductor muscle in May's DFB Pokal final defeat against the side he is set to make his return against.

His lack of a single minute of game time so far this season could be an issue for Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel, however, who will not want to rush him back prematurely.

An impressive total of 20 goals last season shows the influence he has on his side, though, so Tuchel's hand may be forced in such a big game.

Reus has regularly visited an osteopath in the Netherlands since the summer, looking to eradicate a pelvic problem. He also visited his own rehab therapists in an attempt to rectify a series of injury problems that have kept him out of a third of Dortmund's games since the start of the 2014-15 season.

The German international made his full return to training on Tuesday, taking part in a full session for the first time since his injury.

"It is a pleasure to see Marco in training," Tuchel said. "He is in a top form and at a remarkable level."

Reus may be unlikely to start the game due to his lack of match fitness and susceptibility to a possible recurrence of the injury.

A win in Der Klassikerwould see fifth placedDortmund close the gap on their top of the tablerivals to three points.
