John Boye made his return to Metz FC's first team and enjoyed 90 minutes of play in the French Ligue 1 game against AS Monaco on Saturday which ended 3-1 in favor of Metz.
The defender missed last weekend's opener against Strasbourg due to late return to camp, he played for Ghana during the Nation cup in Egypt.
The 32-year old is an integral part of the team and played a key role in Metz's quick return to the Ligue 1.
