The new board of Asante Kotoko has decided to dissolve the current management after being inaugurated, footballghana.com can exclusively report.
There were growing speculations that George Amoako, the CEO of the club and the rest of his management team could be on the chopping block after a series of damning events happened at the club. Amoako served at the club during the 1990s and took a break. After that long break, he was called to serve once again in 2018.

This step is similar to the one taken by current executive chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei in August 2015. Dr Kyei swiftly dissolved his old board and replaced them with a new one 24 hours later. George Amoako became the head of the management team with Lawyer Samuel Sarfo Duku serving as the new communications director.
Mr. Yaw Amo Sarpong was given the policy analyst role, Mr. Isaac Donkor was named director of operations and Dr. Jerry Pratt took the role of medical officer.
Other members included Nana Kwame Dankwah, Deputy Greater Accra representative; Mr. Caleb Adams, Psychologist; Miss Rose Padmore Yeboah, Administrative Manager; Miss Lucy Josephine Andoh, Deputy Administrative Manager and Nana Akwasi Gyambibi, Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman.
Lawyer Sarfo Duku, Dr. Amo Sarpong and others left the club and now the rest have been sent out as well. Footballghana.com understands that Dr. Kyei has been left highly unimpressed with the job the management did since their appointment and seeks a restart.
A new management team is yet to be announced. The fans and necessary stakeholders of the club are waiting for the decision of the new board on the next set of leaders.
