BREAKING: Kotoko to battle Algerian side ES Setif in CAF Confederation Cup

Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are set for a CAF Confederation Cup showdown with Algerian side ES Setif.

The Porcupine Warriors suffered a controversial exit at the hands of Sudanese side Al-Hilal. They lost 1-0 in the first leg and automatically suffered a 2-0 defeat in the second leg after the match was cancelled.

Kotoko reportedly recorded 11 COVID-19 cases leading to the cancellation of the match and the declaration of Al-Hilal as winners.

The first leg will be played in Ghana on 14th February and the second leg will be played in Algeria on 21st February.

The winner of the two legs will advance to the group stages of the competition.
