Breaking News: Avram Grant names Asamoah Gyan in starting line up, Dan Amartey replaces Jona Mensah, goalkeeper Razak Brimah maintained for Uganda game

Ghana coach Avram Grant has named Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan in his starting line up for their game against Uganda.

Razak Brimah has been maintained with Harrison Afful, Baba Rahman, Daniel Amartey, John Boye giving him cover in defence.

Daniel Amartey's recent fine form at club level has earned him a place in the starting eleven. He will partner John Boye.

Afriyie Acquah will play in the defensive midfield role and support from Mubarak Wakaso.

Newcastle United player Christian Atsu will operate from the right with Frank Acheampong on the left flank.

In-form Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew will partner Skipper Asamoah Gyan upfront.
