Ogum first led the team to success in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season, capturing the league title in his debut. Despite signing a two-year contract with the club, he was unceremoniously fired.

Before the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season began, a Burkinabe coach named Seydou Zerbo was hired to replace Prosper Ogum. Nevertheless, Zerbo lost against Medeama SC at the Baba Yara Stadium and was fired midway through the season.

The team's interim coach, Abdul Gazale, an assistant coach, guided them to a 52-point fourth-place finish.

The upcoming 2023/24 season is set to begin in September.
