The Board of Directors of Accra Hearts of Oak have appointed Vincent Sowah Odotei as the Managing director of the club. Odotei who returned to the club as chairman of the Strategy Committee set up by the board prior to the start of the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League season will now oversee the management of the club.
Since his comeback, Odotei has been able to stabilize the team with the appointment of Portuguese trainer Sergio Traguil.
The former GFA presidential aspirant was Chief Executive Officer of the club between 2007 and 2010 and it was during his tenure Hearts of Oak won their last Premier League trophy till date.
Odotei, won the parliamentary primaries on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party for La Dadekotopon constituency and will contest that seat in the upcoming General Elections.
