BREAKING NEWS: Rizespor sign Black Stars defender Joseph Attamah Larweh

Footballghana.com can report that Turkish Super Lig side Çaykur Rizespor has signed Ghanaian international Joseph Attamah Larweh on a season-long loan from İstanbul Başakşehir ahead of the start of the 2019/2020 season.  

The confirmation of the player's transfer comes on the back of an earlier reported by footballghaan.com in the last 24 hours indicating that he was on the verge of completing the move.

Attamah-Lawerh, 25, has joined Rizespor in a bid to enjoy regular playing time when the Turkish Super Lig starts.

A statement by Rizespor to confirm the transfer of the center-back noted, “Çaykur Rizespor transferred Joseph Attamah from İstanbul Başakşehir FK for rent".

“Çaykur Rizespor’umu Istanbul Basaksehir FK 25-year-old Ghana national team also played for the defender Joseph Attamah’nın agreement for the transfer of the agreement".

“We wish success to Joseph Attamah who has played in 79 official matches in Başakşehir for the last 3 seasons and lastly 59 minutes in the UEFA Champions League match against Olympiacos on August 13.”

Joseph Attamah Lawerh’s services have been secured by Rizespor as they bid to boost their squad to ensure they compete at the top level to avoid relegation at the end of the 2019/2020 season.
