BREAKING NEWS: Robert Essibu resigns from position as Ebusua Dwarfs head coach

Published on: 15 January 2020

Head coach for Ebusua Dwarfs, Robert Raymond Essibu has resigned from his position as the technical head for the Ghana Premier League side.

The experienced gaffer has been in charge of the club since the start of the season but has failed to pick a point after the first four matches. During that period, the club has lost two home matches as well as two away games.

On the opening weekend of the 2019/2020 Ghanaian top-flight season, Dwarfs lost 3-1 to Medeama Sporting Club (SC) before subsequently losing to WAFA on match week 2.

The last two defeats of the side have come against Accra Hearts of Oak and Liberty Professionals where they lost 2-1 at the end of both matches.

After failing to guide the team to earn a single point in those matches, Ebusua Dwarfs head coach Robert Assibu has resigned from his post.

His decision was taken this evening after the team's match against Dansoman Liberty Professionals.
