Former Ghana youth international, Bright Addae, has set his sights on qualification to top flight Italian football, ahead of the new Serie B campaign with Ascoli.
The versatile Ascoli defender cum midfielder says his side are over their missed chances last season and are poised to book a ticket to the topflight Serie A.
“Collectively, we are looking at improving our position from last season and possibly make a case in the promotion run-in.
“We endured a torrid end to the season but hopefully we would get the best of the players in the upcoming season.
“The opportunities that abound in the top flight is enough to motivate us as a group of players”, Addae said.
The former Wa All Stars player made 33 appearances and scored four goals for the second tier side in all competitions despite their late collapse towards the end of the season.
