Ghanaian international Bright Addae has made a donation to Legon Cities FC ahead of their meeting with Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC on Friday night in the Ghana Premier League.
The Juve Stabia defender played for Wa All Stars before securing a move abroad. Though the club has now been rebranded as Legon Cities FC, the players believe it’s still the same club and has shown them some love.
At the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday after the training session of Legon Cities FC, the FIFA U-20 world cup winner was joined by his close pal Alhaji Salamu Amadu, the group head of Afro-Arab Company Limited to donate a set of jerseys and socks to Legon Cities FC.
On the part of Legon Cities FC, former Black stars player John Paintsil (Chief scout for the team, Fred Agbenyo (management member) and entire playing body were present to receive the donation.
This is just one of many gestures the Bright Addae has been doing to give back to the community. Last year his Bright Addae foundation joined hands with Alhaji Salamu and the Afro-Arab group to donated sets of jerseys to the Ghana Skate Soccer Federation.
