Brighton struggling to sign Andre Ayew because of his high wages

According to SunSport there is interest from Brighton and Hove Albion FC but not at the Ghana international's current £90,000-a-week salary at Swansea.

Indeed, a move would therefore only come along if Ayew could consent to have his Swans' final year terminated so that the Seagulls could take him on reduced terms free of charge.

Boss Graham Potter briefly worked with Ayew, 30, in his one season at the Liberty Stadium two seasons ago, before he was sent out to Turkey on loan.

Andre Ayew was outstanding last season in the championship and in Swansea's playoff games.

The captain of the Black Stars whose current market value is €4,000,000 has also been linked to West Brom.
