The club received an offer of £10 million from the English Premier League club but believes the striker is worth more.

As a result, Bristol City have rejected the offer, making it the second time AFC Bournemouth have failed in an attempt to sign the Black Stars forward.

Before the £10 million bid this week, AFC Bournemouth approached Bristol City with a 2 million pounds offer but it was not accepted.

The club has been hoping to sign Antoine Semenyo to strengthen the squad of the team to have a good chance of escaping relegation at the end of the 2022/23 English Premier League season.

Antoine Semenyo, 23, remains a key player for Bristol City. This season, he has made 22 appearances for his club in the English Championship and has five goals and three assists to his name.
