The Claret and Blues earned a valuable point away to the Red Devils at the weekend to leave them in a healthy 13th position in the league after 10 games following a controversial game filled with a red card and several penalty claims, which saw the home side's manager sent to the stands.

Despite this, Dyche has told Burnley's official site, viaSky Sports, that the Portuguese manager still found the time to enter the away side's dressing room to congratulate them on their performance, and admitted he had no idea Mourinho had been banished from the technical area.

"I had no idea Jose had been sent off at half time," commented Dyche.

"I only found out at the end of the game, but he came in and congratulated us, so fair play and I think his questions are not with us, but the referee today."

The Englishman also found time to credit his goalkeeping compatriot Tom Heaton, who made some crucial saves against the likes of United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to keep the score level throughout the game, as well as the overall shape of his team's approach.

"(Heaton) is a very good goalkeeper," continued Dyche. "He continues to mature and work at his game and the biggest thing for me is he has that inner belief that goalkeepers need, that the ball is not going to go in the net.

"But I'm just really proud of the shape, the basics and doing all the ugly little things that count. Whatever the result today, there was more belief and that was a big thing and a building block."
