Burnley have been frustrated in a sensational move for Inter Milan striker Gabriel Barbosa.
The London Evening Standard says the Clarets' bid to sign him on loan for the season has collapsed.
Their bid has come unstuck over their failure to secure a work permit for the Brazilian striker
Barbosa has not been short of potential suitors.
But it was Burnley who moved ahead of the pack for the 20-year-old who cost Inter £26.4million from Santos just 12 months ago.
