The highly-rated midfielder was signed by the record league champions in 2019 to give them a squad boost prior to their campaign in the CAF Champions League.

With his loan deal with the Porcupine Warriors coming to an end, Asante Kotoko has expressed interest to secure his services on a permanent basis.

Due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, negotiations could not begin a few months ago even though the interested party submitted a letter to Medeama SC.

He told Fox FM, "We are into football for business reasons but not for charity", when quizzed if the Tarkwa-based club is ready to sell Justice Blay.
