Coton Sports of Garoua have departed from the country heading to Ghana to face Asante Kotoko SC in the second of the Caf Confederation Cup final play-off in Kumasi at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The encounter will be the decisive game which determines who makes it the group stage of the 2019 CAF Confederation Cup. On Thursday, Coton Sports left via Douala International airport for the clash scheduled for Sunday. They will, however, make a transit in Accra before landing in Kumasi.

The Cameroonian giants were eliminated from the CAF Champions League and are set to redeem their image with the Confederation Cup where they have to showcase their mental toughness to win the game after suffering a surprise 3-2 loss to Kotoko in the first leg that was played in Camero0n last Sunday.

Ahead of this game, Coton Sports thrashed Musango FC 7-0 in a friendly game on Monday. However, they will have beat the Porcupine Warriors to stand a chance of reaching the group stage of the competition.

The game is kick-off at 3:00 pm at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
