Caf Champions League: Asante Kotoko return to Ghana after Kano Pillars defeat

Asante Kotoko have touched down in Ghana following their defeat to Kano Pillars in their CAF Champions League opener on Saturday.

The Porcupine Warriors lost 3-2 to the Nigeria Premier League side at the Saani Abacha Sports Stadium.

Coach Kjetil Zachariassen and his charges left the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport in Nigeria on Sunday morning.

Asante Kotoko will welcome Kano Pillars to Kumasi at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on August 25 for the return leg encounter of the Caf Champions League.
