CAF Champions League: CI Kamsar defender Amos Frimpong expects tough game against Hearts of Oak

CI Kamsar defender Amos Frimpong is anticipating a difficult match against Hearts of Oak in the CAF Champions League playoffs on Sunday.

The Phobians will welcome CI Kamsar of Guinea at the Accra Sports stadium in a single match with the winner of the tie set to advance to the next stage of the competition.

The match which was scheduled to be played in Guinea last weekend did not take place in view of the political unrest in the country.

"Playing Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium will be a difficult task but the team is preparing adequately so we can surprise the Phobians in their own backyard," Frimpong told Happy FM.

“It is a very difficult game for Kamsar with Hearts of Oak winning the double. We are not a bad side but the better team on the day will carry the game."

"We will come and honor the game at the Accra Sports Stadium and we haven’t given up on qualifying to the next stage."

The 29-year-old joined CI Kamsar after parting ways with Ghana Premier League side, Techiman Eleven Wonders.
