The Yellow and Mauves will play host to Yanga at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday, December 8, 2023.

The Ghanaian champions are seeking a second victory in a row in the competition when they tackle Yanga on home turf.

Medeama lost 3-0 to giants Al Ahly SC in their first group game but recovered by beating Algerian side CR Belouizdad in the second match last week in Kumasi.

“Draw or defeat against CR Belouizdad could have dampened their spirit. It is an advantage for Medeama ahead of their game against Yanga having recovered from their early setback”

“Medeama have a good second half and I believe they will definitely beat Yanga” he told Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com.

Medeama have been boosted by the return of their star Jonathan Sowah. The forward is back from suspension and is available for selection against Yanga.

Meanwhile, the Ghanaian champions are without influential duo of Abdul Fatawu Hamidu and Theophilus Anobah due to injury they are presently nursing.
