CAF Confed Cup: Aduana Stars depart Ghana on Friday

Aduana Stars are expected to leave Ghana on Friday for their fourth group stage fixture with AS Vita with a 22 man contingent.

The two-time Ghanaian champions are Ghana’s sole representative in this year’s CAF Confederation Cup following the early exit of Asante Kotoko.

Congolese side AS Vita Club will host the Ogya lads at the Stade de Matyrs in Kinshasa on Sunday.

Aduana defeated AS Vita 2-1 at the Nana Agyemang Badu II Park a week ago and will look to repeat the same scoreline to have a chance of progressing to the quarter-finals of the competition.

The Dormaa based side are second with 4 points, same points as Vita club with Moroccan side Raja Casablanca leading the pack with 5 points after beating Asec Mimosas 1-0.

The contingent will consist of 15 players, 5 technical staff and 2 officials.
