CAF Confed Cup: Bechem United 2-1 MC Alger - The Hunters edge MC Alger in Accra

Bechem United edged MC Alger of Algeria 2-1 in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round qualifier.

Ivorian import Ahmed Toure converted a spot-kick in the 50th minute to give Bechem a 1-0 lead.

However, the Algerians got a vital away goal through Seguer Mohammed moments later.

Kwame Osei Bonsu scored in the 73rd minute to ensure that The Hunters would send a slender advantage to Algeria. Bonsu converted from an assist by Toure.

MC Alger will be counting on an away goal to go through to the next round at the expense of the Ghanaian FA Cup champions.
