Aduana Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Akuoku is confident ahead of their must-win clash against ASEC Mimosas in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Ghana Premier League champions were humbled by 2-0 against Congolese giants AS Vita at the Stade de Martyr on Match Day 4 on Sunday.

A brace from Jean-Marc Makusu Mundele was enough to condemn the Fire Boys to their second defeat of the competition.

The two time Ghana champions pick all the three points in their next two games to have any chance of making it out of the group, starting with the clash against Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas at the Dormaa Nana Agyemang Badu II Park.

"We were hoping to at least get a point which didn't materialize and as a team we have told ourselves to put the loss against Vita Club away and strategize against ASEC," Akuoku told Oyerepa FM.

"That particular match is a must win and my colleagues know that if only we want to qualify for the semis."

"We have no other business but to beat ASEC Mimosas.

"We apologise to Ghanaians for losing. We hope to make amends in our subsequent games."
