Ashanti Gold SC's new signing, Empem Dacosta has revealed that his target is to help the club get to the group stage of the next edition of the CAF Confederations Cup.
The defender recently parted ways with Asante Kotoko by mutual consent after the head coach for the side Maxwell Konadu deemed him surplus to requirement ahead of the next football season.
Yesterday, he successfully completed a 3-year deal with Ashanti Gold SC to give the team a major squad boost.
Speaking to SPORTSworldGhana, a delighted Empem Dacosta has emphasized that he wants to help the Miners to reach the money zone of the CAF Confederations Cup.
“My target is to help qualify the team to money zone and also work hard to show my talent and please the supporters of the club”, the defender said.
The 22-year old has gained experience in the last few years playing for Karela United and Asante Kotoko. He looks set to play a key role for Ashgold in the upcoming season.
