Asante Kotoko are expected to arrive back home on Tuesday afternoon after travelling to  Cameroon to snatch a surprise 3-2 win over Coton Sport FC de Garoua in the Caf Confederation Cup final play-off.

Goals from Emmanuel Gyamfi, Maxwell Baakoh and Abdul Fatawu Safiu ensured that Kotoko edge Coton Sport in a five-goal thriller in the first leg encounter at Stade Militaire de Yaoundé last Sunday.

As a result of their ASKY Airlines round-trip arrangement, coach C.K Akunnor and his lads will head for the Nsimalin International Airport in Yaoundé at 04:00 GMT.

Their flight takes off around 07:00 GMT and will make a brief stopover in Lagos, Nigeria, before another one in Togolese capital Lomé from where they will board another flight home.

The team will touch down at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra around 14:00 GMT and follow up with a bus ride to Kumasi.

The team will head straight to camp to continue preparations ahead of the return leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Kotoko will be looking to advance to the group stage of the competition for the first time since 2008.
