Ghana's sole representative in Africa Asante Kotoko is set to pitch camp in Mampong as they intensify preparations ahead of the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup campaign in November.

The Porcupine Warriors ended their ten-day training tour in Takoradi, Western region last week and will be heading to Asante Mampong where they will spend four days before moving back to the Garden City.

Coach Charles Kwabla Akunnor and his charges will train in the morning and in the evening as he looks to fine-tune his side.

“The team will be moving to Mampong for a 4-day camping commencing God willing Tuesday where they will be training in the morning and evening respectively.” the former Ghana International told Light FM.

“We are on course with preparations to get the team in shape for Africa,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Reds will know their opponent in the first leg of the preliminary round of the 2018-19 CAF Confederation Cup on November 25.

The first leg will take place in Kumasi at the Baba Yara Stadium on November 28 whilst the second leg in Cameroon will be played on either December 4 or 5.
