AshantiGold head coach Ricardo Da Rocha was satisfied with his side's 3-2 win over RS Berkane in Caf Confederation Cup first leg tie, but believes his team could have defended better at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
The first half of the game saw the Miners heading to the change room with a two goal lead, but then conceded two quick goals to level the game before Amos Addai restored the lead to win the five-goal thriller on Saturday.
Speaking at the post-match conference, the Brazilian expressed his disappointment in how his side conceded the two goals.
"RS Berkane is a very good side, we had two goals, but we made too many mistakes that has caused us those two goals".
"It's normal for such mistakes to occur, but I'm not excited about the result because they are a very good side and when we go for the return encounter, we are going to do something better over there"
"We have some work to do on our team because certain things are not well, we have won the game though but I'm not a happy man"
Ashgold will travel to Morocco to face RS Berkane in the return leg encounter on September 27.
