CAF grants license to Asante Kotoko to participate in 2022/2023 Champions League

The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has granted licenses to clubs that will be participating in next season’s CAF Champions League competition.

Ghana’s representative, Asante Kotoko has been granted the license and is cleared to feature in the competition.

This is contained in a press release issued by CAF on its official website on Monday, August 15, 2022.

Asante Kotoko qualified for the upcoming edition of the CAF Champions League after emerging as champions of the Ghana Premier League season at the end of the 2022/23 football season.

After being granted the license by CAF, Asante Kotoko must now work on having a home venue approved.

At the moment, the options available include the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi as well as the Cape Coast Stadium in the Central Region.
