Dauda Mohammed and Yaw Yeboah have been handed a late call-up by coach Ibrahim Tanko ahead of Black Meteors game against Togo in the CAF U-23 Cup of Nations qualifier.
The two foreign-based Ghanaian attackers will join the rest of the team as Ghana prepare to face their fiece neighbours in the qualification round at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Tuesday.
The team has already six foreigners including Evans Mensah, Frank Arhin, Joel Fameyeh, Gideon Mensah and Isaac Twum in camp with the team in Kumasia ahead of the enounter.
"We tried to invite some local players...but the truth is that most of them are not fit. That was the reason why we opted for foreigners" Coach Tanko told Kickgh.com
"For now we're waiting for Yaw Yeboah and Dauda Mohammed. Yeboah will be in camp today whiles Dauda will arrive on Monday" he added.
20-year-old Dauda Mohammed currently plies his trade with Anderlecht in the Belgian First Division A while Yaw Yeboah also plays for Spanish club CD Numancia.
