CAF U-23 qualifier: Ghana coach Ibrahim Tanko names strong starting XI for Algeria clash

Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko has named a strong starting XI to face Algeria in the CAF U-23 qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Asante Kotoko shot-stopper Kwame Baah has been handed a starting berth in the post with Nicholas Opoku, Kingsley Fobi, Gideon Mensah and Zackaria Fusieni completing the defence.

Red Bull Salzburg midfielder Majeed Ashimeru and Joseph Paintsil of KRC Genk will be in midfield while Osman Bukari and Dauda Mohammed operate from the flanks.

Skipper Yaw Yeboah will be supporting Bernard Tekpetey upfront against the North African side.

The game will kick off at 15:00GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
