Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) has backed the Black Meteors of Ghana ahead of the crucial return leg tie against Algeria on Tuesday.

Ghana were held to a 1-1 stalemate by the North African country in the first leg encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium last Friday.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his lads will be seeking for a positive result in Algiers as they eye qualification to the CAF U-23 Championships, which will serve as a route to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics next year.

”The PFAG is fully aware of the difficult nature of the task at hand, but we remain confident in the dedication, quality and sheer resilience within the squad to come away with the much-needed result,” a statement published of pfag.com.gh read.

”With the support and prayers of all Ghanaians, the PFAG wishes the Black Meteors all the best!

”We continue to stand with you and for you!!,”
