Ghana forward, Caleb Ekuban has heaped praises on his Trabzonspor teammates following the team’s narrow 1-0 win against Erzurumspor BB over the past weekend.
The highly-rated attacker was called into action on Sunday evening when his team hosted their Matchday 9 opponent of the ongoing 2020/2021 Turkish Super Lig season.
On the matchday, Caleb Ekuban scored the only goal in the first half to ensure his Trabzonspor side bagged all 3 points at the end of the 90 minutes.
Speaking in a post-match interview, the forward shared that all his teammates deserve to be praised for the win.
“We have to congratulate all our teammates. We made important sacrifices for 3 points. Everyone ran and fought. We are very happy. I did the first thing that came to my mind in the joy of goals,” the selfless Caleb Ekuban said.
After scoring his first goal of the new Turkish Super Lig season, the Ghana international says he is delighted and looks forward to scoring more to help his club.
