Injured Leeds United player Caleb Ekuban will return to training in two weeks, according to his manager Thomas Christiansen.

The Ghanaian player has been out of action for some time now since undergoing a surgery on a broken bone.

Speaking ahead of their Week 30 clash against Cardiff City, manager Christiansen disclosed the 23-year-old hitman is making progress in his recovery and expects him to join his team-mates in two weeks time.

Christiansen said: “In 10 to 14 days he will be back. “He was playing well until he got injured and I believe I can expect the same from him.”

Ekuban joined the Yorkshire Club prior to the campaign for £500,000 from Italian Serie A outfit Chievo Verona but injuries has limited his game time for the side, having made just seven appearances and registered one goal.
