Callum Hudson-Odoi makes England senior debut

Chelsea star Callum Hudson-Odoi finally made his senior international debut for England.

The highly-rated winger featured his first competitive match for the Three Lions as they defeated Czech Republic 5-0 in the Euro 2020 qualifiers on Friday evening.

The Bayern Munich target came on in the second half to replace Raheem Sterling with 20 minutes left to play as he officially committed himself to his country of birth.

Born to Ghanaian parents, the talented attacker was eligible to represent both England and Ghana, however, made his intentions clear as he chose the former over the latter.

This automatically ends Ghana’s quest to lure the former England U17 World Cup winner.

He might make his second appearance for England when they take on Montenegro in another qualifier on Monday.

His father Bismark Odoi was a former player of Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak with his senior brother Bradley Hudson-Odoi already representing Ghana at U20 level.
