Assistant coach of Cameroon Bernadette AnorIis confident her side stands an equal chance as any team to win the 2018 Africa Women’s Nations Cup which kicks-off on November 17.

The Indomitable Lioness have been drawn in Group A alongside hosts Ghana, Mali and Algeria.

The group has been widely considered as the group of death after the draw on Sunday.

According to Anor, who helped her side to a second place finish last term on home soil admits all the teams have an equal chance of winning the trophy.

“I believe our chances are equal since we are all there to fight for the trophy,” she told FootballmadeinGhana.com.

“I don’t think this is a group of death. The thing is that every country has grown in female soccer and you cannot underrate anyone.”

Cameroon will begin their campaign against Mali before facing Algeria and then Ghana in their subsequent group games.
